In the build and transfer business model, we at GoldenCity simply ensure that we build the projects to your specifications and design and in the time frame of completion according to the program of work we transfer the completed project back to the client. public authorities, private organizations and individuals pay GoldenCity for the execution of a project in a short period of time, usually a few months to couple of years.
In some other cases where large projects are involved there arises another form of building and transferring known as the BOT.
What is a Build-Operate-Transfer Contract?
A build-operate-transfer contract is a model used to finance large projects, typically infrastructure projects developed through public-private partnerships.
Under a build-operate-transfer (BOT) contract, an entity – usually a government – grants a concession to a private company to finance, build and operate a project. The company operates the project for a period of time – perhaps 20 or 30 years – with the goal of recouping its investment, then transfers control of the project to the government. BOT projects are normally large-scale, greenfield infrastructure projects that would otherwise be financed, built and operated solely by the government.
In these forms of project, we use our network of resources to first check the feasibility of the project and viability of the project, then we make proposals to our international partners and if the project passes all the screening processes, we present a business case and then terms of agreement where which we have a mutual memorandum of understanding towards the execution of the project.
